RESPeRATE device: A drug-free way to lower blood pressure

The RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering Device
has been proven in clinical trials1 to lower blood pressure.
It is effective in lowering blood pressure both for those who take blood pressure-lowering drugs or other drugs such as those for diabetes, and for those who are not taking any medication.
You might want to consider the RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering Device if you;
- Want a FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved blood pressure-lowering method
- A method that is scientifically proven in clinical trials to lower blood pressure
- Want to take as few drugs as possible
- Want a treatment that has no (unwanted) side effects
- Want to reduce stress at the same time as reducing blood pressure

For those with blood pressure at slightly raised levels, being prehypertensive or stage1 hypertensive, use of the RESPeRATE is often sufficient to lower blood pressure back to normal levels. So avoiding taking any drugs.
Many people worry about taking drugs. However, did you know that in some surveys up to 20% of herbal supplements contain heavy metals such as arsenic and mercury, and that many supplements have been shown to have either much more or less of the active ingredient than is stated on the label.
Using the RESPeRATE device helps you avoid or minimize the need to take a drug or supplement.
The RESPeRATE device uses biofeedback to slow breathing rate and lower blood pressure
The idea behind the RESPeRATE is quite simple. When using the device, the number of breaths per minute is gradually reduced. This slowed breathing results in relaxation of the muscle layer of blood vessels. This relaxation makes the inside of blood vessels wider and pressure drops. (Think about how much more pressure is required to force the same amount of water through a straw as compared to a hose.)
How RESPeRATE slows breathing rate
The RESPeRATE device has a pair of earphones, a sensor that goes round your chest and a control device.
The device senses your breathing pattern and then synchronizes itself with the rate of breathing. There are two tones, one for inhaling and one for exhaling. The RESPeRATE then slowly decreases the number of tones until there are less than 10 breaths per minute. The body, since it will tend to follow rhythms, will slow its breathing following the slower pace of the tones.
There is a short instructional video.
RESPeRATE is easy to use and does not require concentration
Since the body will follow the tones, there is no need to have intense constant focus on the breathing as you have to, when doing breathing exercises and meditation. The tones make it easy to slow breathing and get the benefits of stress reduction and reduced blood pressure.
Actually, at first, you tend to concentrate too much. When this happens your breathing is not natural and the device gives you instructions. Also in the beginning, you really have a tendancy to want to know how you are doing. When you get down to below to 10 breaths a minute, you are wondering whether you are at, or much below, 10 breaths per minute. It takes a couple of times to so that you really relax and then it is very easy and quite de-stressing.
RESPeRATE is safe and has no (unwanted) side effects
Since the device just uses a sensor to measure your breathing rate and tones to slow it down, it is completely safe and has no negative side effects. Since it will allow some people to either avoid taking blood pressure drugs or to reduce the number or dose, it has positive side effects.
The RESPeRATE device will help deal with the stress of everyday life, which is a good side effect.
- RESPeRATE can be used with any drugs, diet, exercise program or lifestyle. -
How often does RESPeRATE need to be used?
The RESPeRATE Blood Pressure Lowering Device generally only needs to be used for 3 to 4 times per week for 15 minutes, each time. For this small amount of relaxation time, in most people who have high blood pressure, there will be a significant drop in blood pressure in about a month.
